You sign up alone
You do not bring a team and you do not pick one. You register unattached and consent to being drafted at random. 342 gamers do this.
A club drafts you
114 clubs across six divisions. A club is drawn, and it takes three gamers from the pool. That is a squad, for the season.
The draw is seeded and recorded, so it can be replayed. A random draft nobody can replay is indistinguishable from a rigged one.
A tie is three 1v1 games
Your club plays another club, but never together. Three of you, three of them, one match each, and the server draws who plays whom. Win two sets, win the tie.
The third set is the decider, and the draw deliberately spreads it: it tracks how often each gamer has been handed each slot and evens it out, while still picking at random among equally-balanced options. Your opponent cannot guess your lineup; you also cannot be the one who always plays under pressure.
If somebody does not turn up
A team-mate covers their set and plays twice. Only an uncovered set is forfeited, and a forfeited set carries no scoreline — a walkover is not a performance, so it cannot inflate anyone's goal difference.
Two competitions at once
Your division, midweek. Every club in your division, once each. Ordinary football points: 3 for a win, 1 for a draw.
The Swiss major, weekends. All 114 clubs together, cross-league. You are paired against clubs on the same record as you. Five wins qualifies for the playoffs, five losses ends your run, and it resolves in seven rounds.
The playoffs are best-of-three to the round of 16, then best-of-five from the quarter-finals.
